The popular daytime disco phenomenon for the over 25s is coming to Cambridge next month [May].
Blame It On The Sunshine will be bringing its vibes to retro club Vinyl, Sidney Street, on Saturday 25 May from 5 to 9pm. The idea is to give the clubbing loving generations of old the chance to let their hair down for a few hours while having the chance to be in bed by 10pm.
Vinyl’s venue manager Steve Barr said: “Vinyl is the perfect place to host an over 25s disco with our 70s inspired flashing dancefloor, disco balls aplenty and retro themed décor. We hope that those who may not have been clubbing since their teenage years will see this as a chance to rediscover their groove and still feel fresh enough to get up early on Sunday to spend time with the kids, or go out for Sunday lunch.”
Blame It On The Sunshine will be hosted by Groove Kitchen and features three DJs – Priimo, Dan O’Dwyer and Mark Malle – who will play the best old school bangers and party classics, including house, disco, funk and soul.
Early bird tickets can be bought in advance for just £5 from Fixr.
