Book Talk on Sustainable Business with André Hoffmann

26 November @ 4:15 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

In the face of the climate and biodiversity crises, businesses are increasingly called upon to embed environmental and social responsibility into their core strategies. How can they successfully navigate this transformation while ensuring long-term success and sustainability?

We are delighted to invite you to a special panel discussion and book talk on The New Nature of Business: The Path to Prosperity and Sustainability, featuring co-authors André Hoffmann, Swiss business leader, environmentalist, and member of the Cambridge Conservation Initiative (CCI) Advisory Board, and journalist, Peter Vanham. Together, they will explore how sustainable business practices are reshaping the business landscape and redefining prosperity.

The discussion will be chaired by CCI’s Executive Director, Prof. Melissa Leach, and will include an expert panel featuring:

  • Jaideep Prabhu – Professor of Marketing and Nehru Professor of Indian Business, Cambridge Judge Business School
  • Lindsay Hooper – Interim CEO, Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL)
  •  Dr. Noelle Kumpel – Head of Policy, BirdLife International

This in-person event will take place at the David Attenborough Building. The panel discussion will be held in the Babbage Lecture Theatre, followed by a drinks reception in the Whale Hall. Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase a signed copy of the book at a discounted price at the Whale Café.
