On this course Imogen will teach you somes useful woodworking skills through making a bird box.

This course will teach you the basics of using hand tools, by constructing a bird house for your garden. Choose which bird you’d like to cater for and design the box for them, sand it to a finish, stain it and roof it.

Use a combination. of screws and nails to practise your skills, hinge the roof so you can clean it out, and finish with a (RSPB-recommended) non-toxic wood stain, ready to hang in your garden.
