SUMMARY:Creative Walk: Murray Edwards College Sculpture Gardens
DESCRIPTION:Slow down\, explore your surroundings and discover fresh creative inspiration. \n\n\n\nJoin Cambridge Songwriters Collective for our new monthly Creative Walks: Exploring inspiring places around Cambridge through creativity\, curiosity and connection. \nAbout the Creative Walks\nOur Creative Walks invite you to slow down\, explore your surroundings and discover fresh creative inspiration. Each month\, we’ll explore a different route and a new corner of Cambridge\, using what we notice along the way to spark reflection\, curiosity and new ideas. \nBefore the walk\, you’ll receive an email with a few creative prompts inspired by the month’s theme\, ready to use along the way. You’re welcome to explore them quietly at your own pace or connect and share ideas with others in the group. \nWe’ll finish each walk at a nearby café\, with time to reflect\, create\, chat and share what has inspired us. \nNo experience is needed — just curiosity. Whether you enjoy songwriting\, writing\, drawing\, photography\, poetry\, or simply want to explore your creativity and meet new people\, you’re very welcome to join. \n🌿 Walk #2: Sculpture Garden\nWe’ll meet in front of Murray Edwards College and make our way through the sculpture gardens and the Women’s Art Collection\, Europe’s largest collection of art by women! \n📅 Sunday 4th October 2026\n🕙 10am–12pm\n📍 Murray Edwards College → Sculpure Gardens and Women’s Art Collection→ Art Cafe \n🎟️ FREE – Book your spot on Eventbrite:  https://shorturl.at/at9PX \nIf you can no longer attend\, please cancel your ticket so someone else can take your place. \nRoute information and creative prompts will be sent to you by email after you sign up. \nPlease wear comfortable footwear and dress for the weather. We’ll finish at the Art Cafe\, where you’ll have the option to purchase a hot drink or something to eat. \nFind out more at www.cambridgesongwriters.org\nInstagram: @cambridgesongwriters\nEmail: hello@cambridgesongwriters.org \nSupported by Cambridge City Council Community Grants.
