To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Eboracum Baroque present a Royal programme of music featuring Handel’s glorious Coronation Anthems including Zadok the Priest. It’s also a chance to hear selections from his Water Music and some fiery operatic arias (including one with 4 trumpets!) Handel composed 4 majestic anthems for the coronation of George II in 1727.
