Luxury treehouse that’s an ideal staycation spot for Cambs residents

While we’re stuck indoors for the time being due to the national coronavirus restrictions, things look set to get much better over the coming months.

One of the things we’re looking forward to the most after lockdown ends is going on holiday – even if it’s not abroad.

There are plenty of great places to stay in the UK, and many are either in Cambridgeshire or just a short drive away.

Airbnb has a range of quirky and magnificent houses, flats and cottages all around the country.

The company has released the most frequently saved properties on its site by Britons, and there are so many incredible destinations to choose from.

One of the dream properties on the list is just a short drive away from our county.

Around 1 hour 20 minutes from Cambridge by car, Toad Hall in Norfolk is the perfect spot for a post-lockdown staycation.

It’s a magical treehouse lodge near the village of Grimston and is located on a Norfolk Wildlife Trust site.

It’s the perfect place to relax in nature, with incredible views across the unspoilt countryside – and it even has a private hot tub.
