Major delays on A605 after crash closes road both ways

A crash on the A605 is causing significant delays for drivers this Wednesday afternoon (November 18).

The crash which happened at around 5.20pm this afternoon has caused the road to be closed in both directions by emergency services.

The accident happened on the westbound carriageway on the Oundle bypass, but is also affecting traffic heading towards Peterborough on the eastbound carriageway as well.

The road has been closed between Barnwell and Oundle in both directions by police to allow them to deal with the situation.

Currently there is no official information regarding the number of vehicles involved in the accident or if there have been any serious injuries.
