Nene Park Trust recognises the important role its staff has in the success of the organisation and as such is committed to ensuring a positive working culture for all employees. The Trust offers a wide range of benefits for employees, which are outlined below:

  • Annual Leave – we offer 25 days’ of annual leave per annum, plus bank and public holidays (pro rata for part-time staff).
  • Investors in People – the Trust is a Gold Level Investors in People member.
  • Pension Contributions – the Trust will contribute 10% of your basic salary into your pension scheme.
  • Health Care - all permanent employees receive access to the Trust’s health care plan with Westfield Health.
  • Annual Employee Events – the Trust holds a staff conference each year for strategy and team building as well as an annual summer BBQ for staff and their families.
  • Learning and Development - a number of learning and development opportunities are available throughout the year.
  • Death in Service – all full and part-time employees who have completed one year with the Trust are entitled to a death in service benefit of five times their basic annual salary.
  • Health and Wellbeing – The Trust has a number of appointed Health and Wellbeing Champions responsible for implementing and delivering a wide range of initiatives to support employee health and wellbeing throughout the year.
  • Volunteer Day – All employees are encouraged to take part in an annual volunteer day, supporting our Park Management Team with Park maintenance.

Our mission is, through co-creation and collaboration, to encourage more people in Peterborough – and a more diverse audience – to engage with art and heritage, namely culture. Hosted by Nene Park Trust, the Peterborough Cultural Alliance (PCA) is a small, vibrant, cultural endeavour committed to fostering a dynamic, inclusive and innovative cultural scene across our city.

We are seeking 3 highly motivated, talented and dynamic people to join our team as a Creative Cultures Leaders and Executive Officer. In these senior roles, you will be responsible for managing a range of strategic tasks including networks and programmes focused on deep collaboration, innovation in creativity, partnership building and management.

The key focus of these roles is about building a positive can-do attitude as our culture, delivering a complex strategic bid for Peterborough, ensure the smooth running of our office, high level administrative support and offering inclusive cultural expressions/experiences as well as driving the build of our identity. You will work closely with the team, informal networks, groups and institutions, where creative communities spend time, to deliver our cultural strategy, in keeping with the city's needs.
