A man’s body was discovered at a property in Honeysuckle Close, Wimblington, Cambridgeshire on Thursday afternoon.
Officers were called to the scene by paramedics who treated a man for injuries, but sadly he died shortly afterwards.
Police said they would be treating the death as “suspicious”.
Since then a 64-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and has been taken to Thorpe Wood Police Station in Peterborough.
Police said detectives were not looking for anyone else in connection with the death at this time and that it was being treated as an “isolated incident”.
