Rare opportunity to walk through stunning tulip fields near Cambridgeshire

As springtime sunshine returns so does an opportunity to walk through stunning working tulip fields as thousands of them burst into colour. The vast and colourful fields will be available for visitors this month and are just half an hour from the Cambridgeshire border.

The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House and tulip grower Mark Eves of Belmont Nurseries has said that Tulips for Tapping will be returning this month. People will be able to take a rare opportunity to visit and walk through working tulip fields just off the A148 in King’s Lynn.

It will be open from Thursday, April 21 to Monday, May 2 (closed Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27). You can enjoy the flowers in all their colourful glory for £5 or £3 for children under 5.

Visitors can book 45-minute slots and tickets go on sale today on the The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House website. Heading to see the tulips may mean a longer drive for some locals but the beautiful fields are worth the visit as they make for the perfect spring time activity.

There will be local traders selling food. They have also collaborated with Miffy, the white rabbit character which appears in the popular picture books by, Dick Bruna and Miffy will be visiting the fields on Monday May 2.
