A violent brawl in the centre of Peterborough has been caught on video this afternoon.
The footage, shot by Rolandas Rolandas, seems to show two groups of men hitting each other with objects on Cromwell Road as concerned bystanders watch on.
Shouting can be heard along with the noise of someone being struck with an unknown item.
The incident, reported at around 1.30pm today, resulted in two men in their 20s and one man in his 40s being taken to Peterborough City Hospital with serious injuries.
Police have cordoned off part of Cromwell Road, which leads to the city’s main retail district, and investigations are ongoing. No arrests have been made at this stage.
A police spokesperson said earlier: “We were called at 1.30pm today (October 2) with reports of violence in Cromwell Road, Peterborough.
“Police and ambulance crews are at the scene where it’s believed violence has broken out between two groups of men.
“Two men in their twenties and a 40-year-old man have been taken to Peterborough City Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
“Officers remain at the scene where an investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made.”
