Eat out to help out Cambridgeshire restaurants

The Government has launched the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme which encourages diners to go out midweek whilst taking advantage of a discount throughout the month of August. Cambridgeshire restaurants are signing up for the scheme which will see them offer discounts to their diners but also gain this money back from the government.

What is the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme:

The discount can be applied to food and/or non-alcoholic drink purchased for immediate consumption on premises, up to a maximum discount of £10 per diner (inclusive of VAT).

  • The discount will be available all day, every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 3 to 31 August 2020 (check restaurants for full opening times depending on location).
  • The offer includes 50% discount, up to a maximum of £10 per person, to diners for food or non-alcoholic drinks to eat or drink in.

There is no limit to the number of times customers can use the offer during the period of the scheme. Alcohol and service charges are excluded from the offer.

*Please check ahead of any menus, opening hours, timings and T&C’s for each individual restaurant. Social distancing and track and trace may be required.  

Nine’s Global Buffet

The popular Cambridge buffet based on the Leisure Park is participating in the scheme and will be offering exclusive menu discounts. All you can eat never sounded so inviting!

The Senate Bistro

The Senate is proud to have signed up to the scheme and will be offering the discount on Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout August. Bookings are highly recommended to avoid disappointment. Perfect if you’re planning on heading into the city.Find it at The Engineer’s House, Riverside.

Othersyde

Fancy a delicious wood fired pizza next to the river? Of course you do, it’s even better when discounted right! Check out Othersyde for a great venue, location and outdoor area too!

Chutney Joes

Chutney Joes, an Indian restaurant in Cambourne is offering the discount of 50% off up to £10pp with their meals. They are excited to be welcoming back diners to help support local and enjoy great food again.

The Old Spring

The Old Spring based in Cambridge city centre, just off the Chesterton Road, is joining the scheme and looking forward to offering a discount on meals throughout August. Find out more and see their menu here.

Peterborough 

Harvest Barn Farm Shop

Harvest Barn Farm Shop just outside of Peterborough and Ramsey is joining the scheme. They are offering 50% off all coffee shop food and drink through the month. A great place to stop by in the countryside.

Dragonfly Hotel

The hotel in Peterborough will be offering 50% discount on all food and soft drinks through August. The discount will be automatically applied on the day, book your table now to get involved.

Huntingdon

The Lakeside Lodge Golf and Country Club

If you’re up for a spot of golf then make the most of the discount whilst out for the day too. They will be offering the discount throughout August also. Fantastic menu, views and activities.
